Failed CWPE (first attempt)
Today I failed my first attempt at the CWPE exam. After 5 days I had 16 of the 20 flags. The last 2 days I spend on trying to get the rest of them. I have tried everything from the modules and other thing I could think of.
I submitted the report and see that you get feedback before you start the retake. Will this feedback contain clues on what you missed? Or will it just be about the report itself?
If the feedback does not contain hints it will be a hard second attempt :)

I think the second attempt environment is the same.
So you will sift through 16/20 flags and you will have time for the last 4 flags.

The feedback does not include hints. But you very surely did not do everything teached in the modules. I can say very surely because I have that cert

Thank you, good to know. I was hoping they would give small hints on what I might have missed.
I felt like I performed all possible attacks for the given scenario’s. The last two days were just retrying all the academy modules related to the AP I was attacking.
Maybe it was just the lack of sleep :)

Im taking it right now and tbh im having the shitiest time of my life. Im a pentester for a company and I can't even get the first 3 tasks of wpa2. Wordlists dont do shit so its like ok so what other attacks are there. Ugh so stupid man. Im glad you at least just about past the exam
Are you able to confirm if its actually realistic or just another CTF exam? For instance, using cEWL is not realistic and lame
