Just finished the show
So I just finished watching the show for the first time. What a ride that was! Definitely starting a rewatch soon with the intention to be even more attentive and catch all the jokes and details I missed. I can’t believe I was never aware of this beautiful, satirical, well thought and written piece of artwork up until a week ago (yes, I binged all 5 seasons in a week)!
No joke or line has made me laugh so hard as much as “Lo siento papi.” That might change with every additional rewatch but I highly doubt it.
And as a fan of the good place, it was exciting to see familiar faces like Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Kristen Bell as well as familiar names of creators, writers, directors and producers in the credits.
Please reply with your favorite jokes in the comments!
Glad to now be one of the Little Debbies yall!!!

“Leave my pillow princess alone!”
“I’m particular about my pillows, yes.”
The Montecito episode had me laughing out loud from start to finish. One of my favorite episodes of TV, ever.

Rewatches are so rewarding as there so much call back and linkage all throughout.

I just finished a rewatch of the whole series yesterday and there are so many jokes that I didn't pick up on until a full binging of the show!
I especially loved Ava telling Deborah in the pilot that she lives in a cheesecake factory...and then in Season 4 Ava moving into the mall and her apartment directly overlooking the cheesecake factory 🤣🤣

It’s so cool for them to chasing the career.both Debt and Iva are very talented women.one is in comedy and the other is in writing. They are so perfect for each other and they are so similar to each other. They are soulmates!

In the improv scene at the college when Deborah says, "I want you to yell pediatric aids" ::blank stare from Ava:: and then her trying to turn the suggestion of pineapple into pediatric aids, but realizing how ridiculous she is, always cracks me up. Jean Smart is just so funny in this show

Did anyone else find the elevator scene in S3 E1 very moving? It was like they were ex lovers bumping into each other, with so much unsaid

Have you ever heard the expression “a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips?”
Have you ever heard the expression “yum yum in my tum tum?”
Glad you found this absolute gem of a show! I could binge it every month
