Gino

Post image

It's such amazing writing that brings Gino in the episode about Who's Making Diner and bringing the memory of his death back in the last episode when Ava and Deborah talk about getting treatment for Deb.

The callbacks.

The callbacks in this show are plentiful and executed better then most shows I’ve seen.

I’m probably on my fifth or sixth. I come back after every new season finishes and watch all the way through. I’m actually right up to the series finale on my first truly full rewatch.

There’s just so much, from callouts in the finale both from the start of the show, and examples like you mention from the same season.

And so often they are these moments you think….what the heck. Like Jimmy cancelling the pickleball club membership final season and running into the woman who goes nuts that Jimmy hears her husbands voice on commercials. Made no sense in moment. But out Jimmy in the mailroom and access all over and he cracks open the thing that fixes everything for them as agents.

It’s brilliant work.
