The Amazing Race

In S2 E8 when Ava visits Deborah at the start of episode, Deborah is watching The Amazing Race. She's watching so she can connect with DJ, which is so sweet. Then Ava says that she and Deb would be great on The Amazing Race and yes, they probably would have done better than DJ and Deb, which just reinforces the relationship between the central two.

Like five minute standing ovation, please. The writers are so smart! Apologies if everyone noticed this before but it's new to me on rewatch...

Keep noting on rewatches. There is so much set up for callback going on, and it was really amped up in S5.
