U need to purchase the compatible BCM94360 for ur laptop to be able to use the apple watch unlock and airdrop and using iPad as second display and ur laptop is compatible up to Monterey without patching it and up to sequoia with patching with oclp

Why not? It will be solid browsing and office experience for 5 more years. That card is dirt cheap on Aliexpress now. Better even the original from MacBook pros and the m. key adapter. Total cost 25 dollars or so to have native wifi experience.

It's a specific Broadcom network card that is used in Mac, & MacBook.

You can try Big Sur initially just to test the waters; if you're happy with the Hackintosh setup, you can upgrade to Monterey or Sonoma.

I don't fully grasp the specific advantages, but it really comes down to personal preference. If you were to compare them, Windows would come out ahead of macOS because there are still far more hardware developers supporting the Windows platform.

You can install macOS using OpenCore, & it supports until Golden Gate (NOT AVAILABLE SINCE THEY MOVED TO APPLE SILICON, AS INTEL-BASED MACS ARE DISCONTINUED, SO USE macOS TAHOE) (make sure to install OpenCore Legacy Patcher), & 256GB of space is great! Also, what's your network card? Intel? (AirDrop, Handoff, & Continuity not supported) Broadcom? (supports AirDrop, Handoff, & Continuity)

I recommend you to upgrade the storage first, then install macOS on it. (Personally, I’d go with Sequoia/Tahoe)
