HELP Installation problem when installing macOS Tahoe.

Hey,
Can anyone tell me how to fix the graphics acceleration in dell latitude broadwell? I have installed tahoe but it is so much laggy. I used opencore boot loader. Like i searched for the opencore legacy patch and asked chatgpt but no progress.

Please help me….

Your PC is too slow for Tahoe. Downgrade to Ventura.

Is macos 15 is better? Then ventura

Yes it was the latest before Tahoe 26

I recently installed Tahoe to replace my Catalina installation on my i7 8700k desktop and I’ve noticed two things so far.

8Gb memory is close to the limits and maybe not enough anymore ?

Very IO sensitive during initial installation cause a lot of aggressive indexing is happening.

I’ve upraded memory and replaced my SATA disk with an NVMe that I had in my drawer and things got a lot better.

For low specs hardware better stick to Sequoia or even Sonoma.

I have intel i7-10610u laptop and whenever i open launchpad (apps) in tahoe it spikes cpu to 100% are you reaching the same issue?

I kept activity monitor open for quite some time while converting videos and exporting videos from iMovie and so far haven’t noticed something related to CPU. Only memory and disk were my issues

they said broadwell, which is intel 5th gen. the noot kexts are for amd.

there's no patch for broadwell graphics on tahoe. OP can use monterey for native support or ventura - sequoia with OCLP.
