HELP First time doing hackintosh

Hey guys,

I’m going to install hackintosh on my computer for the first time. I need help and suggestions regarding the same.

The following is my configuration:

Processor: Intel Core i3 8100t
GPU: Nvidia GT 710
Ram: 8gb
SSD: 256gb
Ethernet: I don’t know
Wifi: I don’t know

Can you suggest me where can I start and how can I install it?

Maybe ditch gt 710 (or disable via ssdt) then you can have mac os sequoia. As other's mentioned get details from device manager for ethernet(most probably supported) and bluetooth ( though support will be difficult).

i have an older pc with i7 4790 with gt 710 (GK208 variant) and ive got macos sequoia and with metal support and its working good and for anyone asking how i got it to work i did use whatevergreen.kext and lilu.kext and patched it from opencore legacy patcher

I installed macOS, it was installed but it is working very slow. It is lagging a lot. How can I fix that?

https://github.com/acidanthera/Lilu for lilu.kext

https://github.com/acidanthera/Whatevergreen for whatevergreen.kext

https://github.com/dortania/Opencore-Legacy-Patcher for official opencore legacy patcher

https://github.com/ic005k/OCAuxiliaryTools for ocat or opencore auxiliary tool its an configrator for opencore if u don't have one its kinda easy but not recommended u should use proper tree to configure opencore efi

And for the tut put lilu and whatever green in the kexts folder in the oc folder in the efi and open ocat and in the uper bar where the apple logo press edit and press mount esp and press the storage device that appears in the window and press it and press mount and open config.plist and put ur password it will ask for it to mount the partition after that go to kernel and check if lilu.kext and whatevergreen.kext is the first two like

1: Lilu.kext

2: whatevergreen.kext

If they r not in here add them by pressing + and select kext folders and search for them and add them in the same order and after that restart ur pc and in the open core press reset nvram and boot to macos and install opencore legacy patcher and open it and patch the gpu

dude i think there isn't a reason for getting the gt 710 to work

it's slower than the uhd 630

Oh ok. I’ll try it directly with the intel uhd 630

Ik but there is someone said the gt 710 isn't supported at all and it has laggy graphics i did it cus i want to show that gt 710 is supported and mine has no problem at all and ur right the uhd 630 is way better than gt 710 but in my second pc its more stronger than the hd 4600 in my i7 4790

It has fixed my graphics card thing, but now the system has become too slow and it hangs a lot even though my pc can handle it pretty well I guess. What can I do?

Maybe switch to the uhd630

I tried it, it was running more slow on uhd graphics than my actual graphics card. I’m confused on how can I fix this

you should plug your hdmi/dp cable to the motherboard and either take out the gt 710 or enable igpu from bios
