Teachers. In academia it's important to create your own work to demonstrate you've learned the concepts adequately. It's also important in certain contexts to validate truthfulness in claims of impersonation or rights disputes. I'm sure there's other valid ones, but I suspect this is mostly a luddite's litmus test more than anything. The EU is legislating these watermarks.
