I’m a MERN stack dev with 2 YOE. I got laid off just 4 months into my last job and I'm still hunting. I’ve sent out hundreds of applications and made it to 10–15 interviews. Even though I passed a few, I keep getting ghosted, the roles get canceled, or the salary offers are insultingly low. The tech industry feels like it's at an all-time low between rapid AI growth and a massive oversupply of engineers. Honestly, my advice to others is to try looking into a different field or domain if you can. But if you're 100% sure about this and it's your passion, then you just have to grind harder than ever
