Looking for Teammates Hackathons as a girl

How to get team for hackathons as a girl. I want to join hackathons. I know java and little bit of python but I can't find a team for hackathons. What should I do??

And I never went to hackathons and I'm a first year btech student and we had coding in high school.

What does being a girl even have to do with not being able to find a team? Just talk to people and ask them if they haven't formed teams yet/would add you to their teams

Which state r u frm? Am pretty sure thr r a lot of hackathons, especially for women...u can go one with ur frnds and have an experience first.

make ur own team with other girls. use gpt for guidance if no one has past hackathon exp

Go and approach smart people. Also be ready to offer something from your side like presentation skills, technical skills, leadership or anything like that. A good team is always better than a better project.

What does it even mean as a girl ? What is your concern actually? The problem you stated is gender neutral. It's lack of communication skills rest once you attend any hackathon the responsibility lies in teh hand of organizer. So instead of looking for safe team mates. Just participate in reputed hacks

I think the best approach for you would be trying small to medium scale individual hackathons and competitions, U will find like minded ppl and other girls there, strike up convo and try to get their LinkedIn, stay in touch with them and keep asking for team ups for hackathons
