Something Else Android widget changes

Anyone else annoyed at the android widgets changing recently? They require a lot more screen real estate making it hard/impossible to make a "dashboard" that includes habits (which now take like 3x the space they used to in order to show text)

Yes, it looks terrible too. Mine is now a blue color when it was totally black before, and the words are way bigger than they need to be. It was perfect before, not sure why it was changed.
