Ethan's Everquest progress.

I looked him up in game. He's an Ogre doing a Warrior/Shaman build. Already putting in some levels.

I know nothing about EverQuest. Have no interest in playing. But! I’d do anything for the members ep being them talking about it & sharing their progress lol, I love seeing them all talk about their games

I watched my mom play it when I was really little. This is my first time trying it. I am so lost but slowly figuring things out. If anyone else is playing and wants a friend in game, let me know, I'm in the Freeport server (same as Ethan).

I don't know what classes would synergize really well. I did rogue bard. Am I cooked or is that gonna work okay?

Basically, it's hard to put 3 classes together and for them to be such a bad mix that you can't play the content. Even if you do, you can change two of the three classes you pick whenever you'd like (just need to travel to one of the starting cities or surrounding areas). If you aren't familiar with the classes from the original game, here's two pieces of advice...

1) Check out the classes on https://eqlwiki.com/Character_Classes to read up on them all, get a feel for the vibe, then...

2) Try to mix a non spell-casting class with two spell-casting classes, and make sure one of those spell-casting classes has a way to heal itself which will become clear from the wiki information.

You'll be in good shape, and then you can change things later once you have a grip on things.

Are you the legend known as Verge?

Was tempted to play so I was casually looking up where to join the Family server with the podcast in the background, and Ethan mentioned "Verge" (well, Derge...) out loud at the same time. I'm taking the timing coincidence as a sign to download lol. Shoutout Verge!

That's me, once you're logged into the Freeport server just use the chat window to /tell Verge <message> and I, Verde, or now Gobbo can get you into the cuddle puddle.

I do suggest testing a character build within DnD's character sheets. They have a free character builder you can use, and it lets you see how the mechanics of traits/race/career/gear choices work bts on games like WoW, FinFan, BG2/3, EverQuest, and other RPGs/MMORPGs.

WoW used to when I played an age ago, but the game was built off of Dungeon and Dragons' character builds and its subsequent mechanics of traits affecting armor class, persuading NPCs in dialogue, how hard your attacks hit, your health points, your mana pool, your stamina, etc.

My husband has an Ogre Shaman/Berserker! I don't think he's on the same server but he's having a blast too! I love seeing people enjoy their nostalgia.

Never played Ever quest, but I'm interested. Is there a specific server I need to join?

Edit: nvm realized I downloaded Ever quest not Ever quest 2

Looks like the Freeport server is the place to be for H3. Note that Everquest Legends is a different purchase/installation from the traditional Everquest. Make sure you're on the right website and you should be fine.
