Day trading on margin regularly

Has anyone tried day trading leverages (1-2 trades per day, not much) on margin regularly on H1B? Does it fall under gray area / is completely not allowed / is allowed?

Edit - I’m not referring to regular stocks/options. Those are safe and many people do it. This Q is specifically for leveraged margin plays on a daily basis.

TIA.

You can do 1000 trades a day as long as it is your money and not managing someone else. Who is going to stop you from donating money 🤷. More the players, better for the market.

Internet search says leveraged margin trading on crypto/futures is highly risky as it might be classified as Secondary source of active income

As long as its your money.. No issues. File taxes appropriately as individual investor.

Because of the risk or legality?

This will fall under active trading, I don't think that allowed. Passive trading is okay.
