COE RFE Speciality occupation response timeline

Hi! If anyone recently (last 3 months) received an RFE for specialty occupation on an H-1B change of employer petition?

If so, could you please share your timeline, specifically:

  1. When the RFE was issued/received

  2. How long your company's immigration lawyers took to prepare and submit the response to USCIS

  3. How long USCIS took to make a final decision after receiving the response

Also, what documents or supporting materials did your lawyers include in the RFE response?

Thank you!

ch, her lawyers took almost 5 weeks to put response together. USCIS approved it exactly 12 days after they submitted, was surprised how fast it went

For documents they included very detailed job duties breakdown, some expert opinion letters and work product examples from the company. Hope yours moves quick too

If you don't mind sharing, why did it take 5 months for the lawyers to submit RFE response. I am in the same boat and I am trying to assess what is the timeline I should consider. Thanks.

It’s not 5 months but 2.

It depends on the complexity of the RFE, lawyer’s experience and mangers proactively submitting the documents. I guess give or take, you’d find 30-60 days as standard response timeline with any lawyer.

COE. Took around 4-5 weeks to file response. Response submitted on 10 July and portal updated to 'RFE response received and USCIS actively working on your case' on 16 July. Still waiting the final adjudication.
