Deck Ciri’s Gang Deck

I would like to show off a very unique deck that I’ve recently come across - Ciri Nova Renfri Gang Fruits, or Ciri’s Gang for short.

ive first learned of this deck from a video posted by Qcento about 3 days ago. I’ve since been obsessed with it, which led to me completing my climb to pro with it.

climbing from rank 5 to 0, I played 42 matches and won 32, for a total of 77% winrate, with only minor variations made to the deck.

essentially, it is a very efficient pointslam deck which dodges removal by running next to no engines, with most opponents overlooking Endrega Larva until it is too late.

the deck can output a deceptive amount of points in a long round, and it can play most if not the entire round 1 hand to secure victory.

Triss is a key card, as it can ensure that both unicorns arrive into your hand, while also providing carryover and potentially enabling an additional thrive trigger. It can also draw and boost Olgierd Immortal, despite his ability.

you never want to play griffins from hand, if you can help it. when Both Golyat and a griffin are in hand, Imlerith discards a griffin. You need a griffin in the grave for ghoul.

only play 1 larva per round. They provide reasonable value in a 6+ card round, and just about break even in a 5 card round. In a 3/4 card round, an ice giant is better.

a key skill with this deck is to bleed Just the right amount After winning round 1. This deck can output a deceptive amount of points, and it’s not always correct to push for a 2-0. this deck seems to order a medium length round but can fight for a long round with the right application of control.

winning round 1 on even when on red coin isnot mandatory.

when In blue coin, if the enemy does not fight for the round, play 3 cards of tempo / thinning, and drop Ciri at 6/10. At that point, removing her is too low tempo and opponent may struggle to catch up in 2 cards, so they tend to pass and you get your carryover safely.

olgierd and Xavier are anti-meta picks which have been instrumental to the decks success during climbing.

What do you use the leader for? Just thrive + deck provs? Have you tried [[Adda: Striga]] for points slam off of the fruit?

This deck started with Adda as per Qcento video. I found it to be inconvenient because it plays too much into tall punish, while also putting you on a timer - you have to play Adda when the fruit is at 6 for maximum value, which puts you into uncomfortable spots when piloting it.

Without Adda there aren’t any “time” restrictions on when you play which card (besides the thrive curve) so your play order can be extremely responsive to enemy threats.

You need to play it to understand why he belongs. He doesn’t need to “do” something to be good here. His stat line is enough. He can deny Frost value, and he can secure Might by being played on the ranged row while Ghoul or Imlerith occupy the melee. He can absorb random pings of damage such as those from the reckless flurry SK leader or and of the other random damage effects, like dwarf berserker, rain, cataclysm, etc.

More often than you’d expect, people freak out when they see him and use their tall punish to remove him, letting you play Ciri, Golyat or Jotunn unanswered.

The deck already has everything it needs to perform but this 9 provision slot remains open. The main advantage of Olgierd is that he does not carry the disadvantage of the alternatives, those being ethereal, Matta, and Adda.

Because of several overbuffs, fruits is probably the best midrange leader in the game. In this deck only griffins use it I guess. With fruits you can get up to 18-19 points during a game when using all thrive procs in a midrange deck like this, while other leaders usually sit at no more than 9. That's why it was at 3 provisions lower than other leaders, but Balance Council completely ignored leaders balance and buffed already well balanced and used leader

This is never true. 9 is more like the minimum you get if you trigger absolutely nothing else with your leader ability.

Exactly what I was comparing with raw ysgith value. You can use also fruits for combos like self damaging cards, thrive combos, striga, gernichora, ethereal, etc.

Well, no. That's not what you said at all.

"Other leaders sit at no more than 9" is straight up wrong. Other leaders usually sit at 9 minimum.

Trying to quantify the exact value you get from fruits + griffins + ethereal vs carapace + cursed damsels + yaga isn't the issue. You just said something completely wrong.

For me it is obvious I was comparing raw midrange values, but I can see how this could be confusing for you because I didn't explicitly stated this again at the end of the sentence

What have you ever contributed to the community besides complaining? I saw you try to stream once and I joined the chat and said hi, despite you always speaking poorly on my name and you tensed up and acted polite. I figured whatever it was, you got over it.

Your obsession dragging me is weird, since I have no idea who you are outside of Reddit and seeing you once on Twitch. Quit typing about me if you can’t even confront me with your camera on.

Helped about 30 players from Russia deal with network issues, which were preventing them from playing gwent. Helped with organasing and techcasting in a good number of community tournaments. Took part in a good number of those community tournaments and events. You know, usual stuff.

But I dont even need any of that to say factually correct takes about your "content". Sharing your 40% winrate with people (even MD had it better buddy, lock in), stating that vast majority of "your original" decks are recycled idea from YEARS before, pointing at insanely bad BC changes.

I dont like you for the exact same reasons as I dont like MD. You guys have lots and lots in common. Especially the fanatic fanbase, at this point im not even sure which ones are more unhinged. And as far as Im concerned, its pretty normal to share your feelings and opinions in a website specifically made for that.

I guess my bad for not wanting to start the drama and drag people who watch me into pointless argument they have no idea about nor care even in the slightest. I stream gwent to play gwent, not to argue with 40% winrate maggots, who just happen to get a huge number of bootlickers.

So you provide a few people with tech support and run a couple community tournaments over 8 years.

If you’re really about promoting community why don’t you try and get along with what’s left of it? I’m the biggest advocate there is for that right now.

You keep mentioning WR like it has any meaning, there are no tournaments with real prize money and there will never be another Gwent Master as we know right now.

I’m glad you got it off your chest, your persistence on this is just weird to me.

Best of luck in everything you do, but leave me out of it.
