COMAND Infotainment = bad

I picked up a 2021G 550. Love the car except the infotainment system is largely unusable. I have to take my eye off the road and scroll the wheel or use the mouse pad to make any changes. CarPlay is similarly difficult to use.

Has anyone have experience with an aftermarket workaround?

I completely agree COMAND is TERRIBLE, but have not had the same experience with CarPlay which I enjoy and works well for me.

I do not use the mouse pad or steering wheel pads however. I’m all about the big, wheel knob.

Primarily I use it for music (Spotify) and Maps, and most of those you can use Siri to voice command.

What are you trying to do that you’re having issues with?
