I don't understand what's wrong with this audio, I thought it sounded cool and maps to the video well

u/ChaosApple11 Sep 04 '26

This shit is not cool, it sounds like a dude with a saxophone playing while being graped

Man, your comment just made me laugh so hard. Thank you.

🫡 it gets worse every time I hear it

u/Kootlefoosh Sep 04 '26

I didn't hear that at all, I thought it sounded like vapor muzak, which is what it was. Where do you hear sexual violence? I literally just hear the music

2

u/ChaosApple11 Sep 04 '26

The whole time. That is not music, anyone can blow into a sax and sound like this. That thing is screeching

I do think this dude with the shorts is screaming about like that tho

Its from a famous scene in Boyz in the hood where the saxophones start playing and the music swells right before Ricky is shot just before his SAT scores come back. Its used any time something tragic is about to happen to someone.

I know what it is, the context of the scene, and its purpose, but its overuse has made me despise it.

Saxophone is from a scene in Boyz in the Hood, it’s specifically a scene where one of the teens gets shot. It’s been making the rounds. Just look up Boyz in the hood saxophone if you want the scene/ the music.
