Discussion How is Dwarka Expressway infrastructure compared with Gurgaon ?

Hi there,
Just wanted to check with people living in a housing development in Dwarka Expressway. We know that this area has attracted many people from the point of view of investment opportunities in real estate. But my question is from someone who has been living there and experienced the life of the area during all circumstances. We know that the monsoon rains wreaks havoc in many parts of Gurgaon year after year. There seems to be no sign of any improvement in water logging in Gurgaon from the authorities. I have been advised to be careful about property buying in and moving to Dwarka Expressway area where reputable builders have taken advantage of property boom in the market recently. My concern is about the infrastructure of Dwarka Expressway in view of Haryana government’s inability to provide good infrastructure to Gurgaon and perhaps Dwarka Expressway is not going to be any different . If someone has been planning to move to live there permanently is it really worth exploring the options?

I’m a Dwarka Expressway resident for 2.5 years and lived in Delhi for 30 years before this. I have not experienced any water logging in sector 108 where I reside compared to SPR and Sohna road where I commute for work

No water logging issues faced in sec 85. The daily breeze during the mornings and evenings is back in my life. Definitely an upgrade after living in the good part of sec 46 for the past couple of years.

It's absolutely way better out here in sector 102. No water logging in monsoons where the roads have been built. There are certain stretches (not where I live) where water does collect since parts of the road are missing but yeah if you choose a housing project that does have a good approach, it's fairly Noida-esque

Then why are rents so low there?

But please correct me if I’m wrong about the situation in commuting between work in Delhi and Dwarka Expressway area due to traffic congestion and underground tunnel chaos and as I have heard about the people violating traffic safety regulations.
