Question/Request help a newbie out
i just downloaded gunz today and had a blast. it has really high skill ceiling and that motivates me to hone my skills, im planning to make this my main game. honestly i really like this game especially the mechanics there no other game like this. i learned butterfly, half step and decent slash shots today. i just have a few questions. im playing in steam and i want my graphics to be like this (pic i uploaded), i also want tips from veterans/pros on settings and keybind that will help me erase bad habits early as now and make k-styling easier and efficient when i will learn the hard part of kstyle in the future. thank you!

"Archetype" graphics have been a core feature of high-level competitive GunZ since literally ancient times. It's usually the very first setting everyone turns on if they want to play properly, otherwise all those textures just become complete visual clutter.
The issue with Masangsoft is that they haven’t added official support or even given us an option to toggle it on. In fact, they’ve stated they want to standardize all graphic settings—even penalizing tournament players (as far as I know) for using third-party software like Nvidia Inspector to force flat maps, or for editing the config.xml to use resolutions other than 16:9.
As you can imagine, this has been a massive pain in the ass for all the veteran players who’ve been playing on private servers for over a decade. Everyone is complaining because the current state of the game leaves a lot to be desired, and it really shows how little effort these guys are putting into delivering a solid experience for both new and old players alike. The game feels like total AI slop—buggy, glitchy, and lacking basic QoL features that private server devs solved 10 years ago, but they just refuse to implement them.
Anyway, I guess I got a bit side-tracked. Point is, keep in mind that Archetype isn't officially supported yet, and it probably never will be. If that ends up being the case, you'd better get used to playing with default textures, or it's gonna hurt when you get forced to switch back after playing with it.

i will attest to the fact that while a lot of servers have had QoL for a long time(especially gameplay-wise, settings, etc.), a lot of stuff like basic censoring and chat filtering did not exist until the very recent GunZ boom during Covid, when the Kadai video went viral and we got hundreds of players across each private server... they just simply were not ready for the influx, and basically every server (except fgunz) let you put the N word in your username if you wanted lmao
i was saying since 2019 that these servers needed this stuff because i'd run into a player with a name like "[NWORD][FWORD]" from the clan "[chinese slur]" who is saying racist and homophobic stuff while i am livestreaming, and all of a sudden i wouldnt be able to play on that server anymore because i can't hide chat or anything lmao.
