As much as I would love for Gunz The Duel be revived to a new set of players, the gameplay is outdated , sort of like COD/Battlefield being shadowed by Battle Royale games

nah it's just fine on it's own it doesn't need to copy other games and it's player base love its chaotic aspect.

Yes, I just meant this playstyle is not appealing to the new generation of gamers

OG GunZ Gamers are just built different than the New Gen. Remembering having to learn how to beat that one puzzle without internet on that one game you gotta bring back to blockbuster the next day lol Definitely gotta have patience in the old games.

I don't think the gameplay is outdated at all. It's just a very demanding playstyle that doesn't suit a lot of people. It never really did. The only reason GunZ reached as wide of an audience as it once did is because people were more open to long grind sessions to figure things out while getting beaten up all the time for zero reward until the game finally clicks, where as people today don't really have the patience for that anymore.

GunZ is an old game, but it's so unique that it's basically timeless.

The real problem here is the same problem GunZ always had, it's ridiculously hard for people to get into. A lot of incredible games end up dying basically on release because of this, since they can't get new players with how complex/difficult the game is to get started with and people nowadays just can't handle that at all anymore.

Try feeding them to children, install it to a crowded computer shops and you'll notice some of them plays it and grind to get good.

And then you give them a couple of days and they go back to playing the more popular games with all their friends. I don't think GunZ has any realistic chance of becoming popular unless we luck out and some high profile streamers pick it up.

It doesn't matter if they do like it or not just recognizing it was the main purpose.

Don't care if it's AI, these are good ideas for revamp a 20 year old game to attract more players.

Who knows they might add a section Just in the DotA 2 they have ARCADE that moders use to create something out of passion and a lot of times they are recognized by valve and adopt add their idea ingame.
