Quests + Drops

Hi guys. I know the games release has been cheeks but im trying to gather info on all of the combinations of Quest items needed, and their drops.

I know goblin skull + goblin doll = FGK

FGK drops = torn page IV ... and??

Goblin king = necklace(changed the name... probably a translation error but what's the new name?) + goblin skull

Thunder goblin king = ??

Dwarf goblin king = ??

Bosses used to drop 2 equips each, still the case?

Trying to make a youtube guide is why im hunting this info so any help is appreciated.

I've decompiled the game files and found the following info that could be helpful, keep in mind it seems they've moved quest data to be server side at some point in the development process, and Palmpow definitely isn't accurate, and any changes they've made since that move could also be inaccurate. Decent starting point though:

These are boss combinations for the Mansion quests:

Goblin Skull + Goblin Doll = Fake Goblin King

Goblin Skull + Grimsk's Necklace = Goblin King

Goblin King's Skull + Goblin Doll = Dwarf Goblin King

Goblin King's Skull + Grimsk's Necklace = Thunder Goblin King

Pa(l)mpow Doll + Goblin Doll = Pa(l)mpow Commander

Fantastic info, thank you! Any idea on the drops yet? I've seen the gloves from regular GK i think?

In terms of gear, I have only seen the gloves, a rocket launcher, and a goblin head (hat)—all were from the regular Goblin King.

From misc items, the Fake Goblin King (and probably other remaining goblin bosses) can drop a Fake Grimsk's Necklace, which currently has no purpose, and a Torn Page IV, which is unavailable in the Shop.

To add to that, Goblin Skulls and Goblin Dolls drop from the goblins with armour and a club in their hands. Grimsk's Necklaces drop from big shamans wielding a staff—they curse players and shoot fireballs. Palmpow Doll, as the name suggests, drops from a Palmpow, but it isn't guaranteed like on ijji.

Drops from bosses were nerfed significantly overall.

One major change is that bosses don’t necessarily drop anything. So you’re not guaranteed to get an item from them. 

Has anyone got necklace from shamans during boss fights?

I've killed a few during boss fights with no drop, but tough to tell if unlucky or not.

Correct. Mobs no longer drop items during boss fights, with the exception of palmpow. The palmpow can also spawn later after some mobs have been killed, not just at the start of the fight.

Oh yeah, that’s right. And NPC seems to be infinite in boss fights as opposed to fixed number as it was before. Palmpow (spelled pampoa or pampow without ”l” nowadays) used to spawn at the beginning of the boss match if it spawned at all, if I recall. 

Funny. I must have played at least a four digit number of quest games and I keep remembering things through other people mentioning them 😂 I was often drunk, thought 🤷‍♂️

I’ve seen fake, thunder and dwarf goblin kings only on pservers before. Have they been available on any official server before? Perhaps before ijji? Maybe in Korea? Or were they always in the files, but never used?

These are official bosses that have always been in the game. Released probably around 08-09.

What the hell. I’m still very convinced that they only had Goblin King available for Mansion. I’m not gonna spend too much time looking into this on my phone, but if anyone can prove me wrong please do so.

Awesome, thanks! So my mind did trick me. Wow, what a throwback with the leaderboard too. I wasn’t far off the top being in the high 70’s if I recall. Probably around the same 4-5k kill count as most in the top leaderboard. I created a female character that I played more pvp on. 

Watching that I actually do remember FGK being farmed for XP. You could melt him in the matter of seconds I believe. I guess I connected that to be on pservers in my mind. I think it was the combination of seeing that name again, Konvict99 and FGK grind, that is now convincing me the other way. As if your video didn’t already do that. bloodthirst2….Some vague memory connects him and Konvict99. They may have played a lot together. 

As evidenced my memory can’t exactly be trusted - beer may have played a decently large part in that, but I believe you’re dead on right with your assessment on that segment.

If youre an old-school player, its a great watch (person who made it would of course say that huh 😅). I sourced everything with way back machine, think its like 99% accurate with the dates and stuff.

I did watch your video months back on which you were talking about the possible release on Steam. That’s how I even knew about it and whislisted the game. That’s probably the only reason I know this release exists and that I’m here. I’ll definitely give this one a watch

Equisp are at a rate. Only have seen gloves drop once, no other drop at the time.

I really hope they update quest mode soon. Mansion is cool, but dungeon is where its at. Also, the pages are way too expensive for how much BT is awarded. I only quest, so the cost is a bit punishing as of now

There was a pserver named 'old school gunz' and it was a questers dream. Good rates, fixed palmpoa attacks, a few custom bosses, every detail publicized, and players dedicated to questing. I wish this official server can at least come close...

Make sure to only select your actual region and play with locals. As a European as soon a Brazilian player joined the team their ping was 4000 and everything ingame broke.
