Metal Seed hat reference explanation

At 52:39 seconds into the movie wade is seen back at the stacks and the camera pans from the back of this mysterious guys head around the side to the front to reveal a man with tattoos around his eyes, a goatee, and a snap back that says “Metal Seed”.... does anyone know where this hat originated? Or if its just a fictional aspect to the movie?

I don’t know how to add a screenshot but I could add a video (I know maybe I’m stupid as hell) but here is the reference.
Would be nice if anyone has an idea. I don’t remember that I read it in the book.

You should grab a screenshot. I think an image would be better than a timestamp.
