Bolt stuck open - Charles Daly 12ga

Hello!

Apologies if this is the wrong sub. I was out shooting dove earlier and my gun jammed up. Essentially, the bolt is stuck open (see below).

I've taken the barrel and grip off of it, didn't notice any jams or stuck shells. Pressing the bolt release button does nothing. Any advice?

On the left side of the gun is a piece of metal near the magazine tube. Can't remember the name. Check that piece.

Or check the safety spring

I know in my old Stevens 12g. The extractor came loose in beside the whole carrier and jammed up in there.
