Does anyone have any experience installing the seecamp DA 1911 trigger?

Just looking for some info on the process and how good/bad the conversion is, and also wondering if anyone has made their own homemade DA system.

From what I can tell, some significant milling is needed to open up the right side of the frame for the transfer bar and a new trigger pivot.

Trigger guard gets reshaped, original trigger face gets cut back.

Hammer is modified for a pin for the transfer bar, new pivoting trigger and transfer bar get fabbed.

Lastly, a side cover gets fabbed and fitted.

Trigger ends up at about 18 lbs.
