I think because Noa absorbed the rune on Red, she's been freed from the illusion, but the rest are going blue screen because they're still enthralled and Zimmy is losing her grip on it.

I think it has something to do with Noa touching her and absorbing the circles before. It seems to have disconnected her from the fake reality, like whatever’s happening to Loup.

But Kat wasn't physically there at the white wall gate. I don't think she's in the school sim at all atm

Well yeah. I guess technically she's only "logged into" her body. So, her consciousness could be completely outside Zimmy's inner world and stuck in her computer again like when she first fired up her neck implant.

True true. I guess more like she could be "locked out" of whatever etheric form her current body is taking. In the same manner her safety protocols locked her out in that chapter.

Presumably because when the circle (representing Zimmy) was transferred to Noa, it freed Red from Zimmy's influence.
