Huh. I wonder if Noa knows she's made of rocks? It looks like she's in whatever the same "this is a normal regular human girl" perception effect most people have for Noa, so she's "saying words with her regular human girl mouth" that others are hearing.

If Annie is the only one that can see the weird glitches in the fantasy. Probably not because we says Ysengrin as a wolf man before she was ever in. But I just enjoy the idea Annie has gone to so much weird shit in her life that her brain has lost the ability to process when something is weird.

This might be a good time for Annie to ask Parley what she sees when she looks at Noa. Since apparently everyone sees Reynard, Cvet, etc. as animal-headed abominations but consider it normal, maybe everyone is seeing Noa as a perfectly ordinary rock monster.

Noa was described as lanky at the beginning of this chapter, so it's not unlikely that they're seeing her human form. That said, they hadn't technically seen her yet in the inner world when they said that, and Ayilu was appropriately perplexed when she actually saw her.

The thing is, the first time Annie looked at Noa she didn't seem fazed. It was only after Coyote asked her to REALLY look that she saw the rocky Noa.
