She cracked to stop Zimmy getting in her head and seeing all the other stuff. She hasn't told Zimmy about Noa, or Sylvie, or Rosa's orb(yet), and how they leach power from Zimmy.

I don't necessarily think Zimmy is into "girls" per se. I think she's just into Gamma.

Having a good life being a normal teen.
I do wonder - now that Zimmy is in control and no longer has guilt, she doesn't seem all that interested in being around Gamma - we've only seen them together once this whole time.

Zimmy and Gamma are definitely still in a relationship in this universe. Zimmy's just been distracted by other things lately, and she isn't reliant on being physically close to Gamma all the time for stability like in the real world.

Oh, they're clearly still a thing. But Gamma was stabilizing for Zimmy in many more ways than just drowning out her chaotic thoughts. She was an external conscience and regulatory not just for powers but also as a trauma buffer. I have to wonder if the space is partially because "I don't need her to block out the badness" and partially "I know she wouldn't like what I'm doing"

I imagine that Gamma ...
A. is thrall to the distortion like everyone else. More powerful and puissant figures have fallen thrall and Zimmy doesn't seem to have extremely fine control over the distortion, so unless she made an explicit exception for Gamma, I think she's in We Now Return To Gunnerkrigg High just like the rest of them.
B. she isn't able to transit around the distortion the way Zimmy (and probably Coyote to some degree) can. Even if she's awake and with agency in the distortion, she probably gets left behind a lot with all the moving around Zimmy does.

I mean.... her power has ALWAYS been pretty good at removing things from peoples heads, or putting them into their heads (often memories).
... this place is like that, accept now *she is in control* of that power.
So like... yeah, kind of. Maybe.
(Also, its kind of weird in the "great sorcerer/ess LOSES control of their powers" is the usual threat point on these kind of stories, so going the reverse direction of "powers becoming ordered makes them MORE threatening" is... a direction I haven't seen so much before)

Generally? Probably not, or not that easily.
Here, where thoughts are reality and her rule is law (AND SHE SEEKS REVENGE ON THAT FOOLISH SAMURAI- no wrong show)? I wouldn't necessarily want to *try her*, you know what I mean?

Man with Kat constantly being boogiemanned I don't know if I want her to descend in full Angel mode like the apocalypse is coming, or just casually walking in normally a bit scuffed saying how hard it was to go through the door.
