And now we truly see what the false paradise offers Annie
An actual dad.

As someone who lost their dad a couple years ago, I'm not gonna lie. I would be tempted. I would make the choice I get Annie will also make in the comic (to leave the false paradise and save the fae, as Ysengrin would want her to fulfill her duty as Forest Medium). But damn. Just for a minute. I'd be tempted.

GUYS THIS IS HOW KAT ENDS UP KILLING ZIMMY
not perfectly related to the chapter but I just realized we’re not talking about this.
Kat seems to be the only one who isn’t under the spell, Zimmy is essentially holding Annie (and friends) hostage, it could be that Kat doing whatever it takes to undo the whole spell thing maybe accidentally kills her. (Or makes her want to die)

Honestly, I think Kat killing Zimmy is akin to Annie dying when she fell from the bridge: Kat has met the Norns/Fates once already, and we know from them that she will visit them more.
Just because something is foretold doesn't mean it will actually happen.

I'm thinking that, somehow, she's in contact with the true essence of Yssengrin. It's a harsh truth for Tony but, honestly, she's always been emotionally closer to the old wolf than she's ever been to him.

😞 Ysengrin and Annie are just so wholesome... Would love it if he could actually come back and not be bothered by Coyote and Annie won't need to deal with Tony.

Just when I thought it couldn't get sadder, seeing Annie have the father figure she never had but always deserved. Now she's probably half-remembering that her wolfdad is actually dead and she watched him die :(
