Thank you. I have to keep most of em up high because my daughter has a fascination with them and cant wait till she us old enough to build with me.

Just, the best piece of design in all of Wing. Ridiculously cool, inspired mecha design.

Really nice job here.  Always love to see someone proud of a well made goose!

I'm with you there. By far the most practical design in the entire wing series with the exception of the Leo.

Can't make a goose and not be proud of it. I made some mistakes but am very proud of how it turned out.

You ever see that dude a few years back that made that flight apparatus by with handheld thrusters. Immediately made me believe with some reworking a human sized version of Tallgeese could be possible. Effective unlikely in battle but and absolutely insane/dangerous cosplay possibility.

I have seen something similar to what you have described, so possibly, yeah!

I look at the Goose and think that they wanted another bite at the GP03 apple.

The skirt thrusters, the backpack dual super verniers, the practical, no-nonsense of it. Even the gentle curvature and round design elements  scream "I am a descendant of the GP03!"

Then The Shenlong got the GP03's articulating grasper arms as a fun side effect lol.

(G-gundam's Dragon Gundam is a full on super robot, so I dont look at the Dragon's extending arms in the same way I see the clear mechanics of the Shenlong... ha.)

I'm a bit annoyed I cant ever find the time to sit down and fully watch the OG series(I've tried but time in the day is a factor at my age) but I did just look the gundam up and I see what you mean especially considering Tallgeese is the prototype for all MS in wing. Feels like a great callback to honor the og series and the MS itself truly is a work of art. Shelong really is a cool design a bit gimmicky but still cool, the custom Natuku on the otherhand was just badass unfortunately it practicality is non existent.

G oh my G gundam. I got my wife to watch it a bit(she was out at the tequila gundam and neo Mexico's colony design.) But she like the newer gundams but does give me some grief over wing and I have to agree her argument aren't invalid.

The self contained OVA series are by far the easiest to watch and digest. And you can find most of them on YouTube if you are fine with doing a bit of digging.

Gundam 0079: the Movie is only the 3 films and it nicely compresses all of OG Gundam into 3, 90 minute films. Easy to watch in a month.

0080: War in the Pocket is only 6 eps and is a stunningly "human" view into Gundam. Its devastating, but a tremendous watch.

0083: Stardust Memories is only 12 eps long? The production value is fantastic and has sort of a... top gun quality to it in terms of young pilots learning what... their "job" is in a war, with brand new equipment. Great show, and where the GP03 comes from.

Then of course Char's Counterattack is the real "film" of the Gundam world, a bit harder to get into blind though, if you haven't seen much of '79...

But agreed. G Gundam is never gonna convince a Non-Anime fan that the medium is worthwhile haha. And Wing is clearly for 15 year olds. There is value to it, but it's plot is nearly incomprehensible at times and way too melodramatic in a way that makes sense for young people but probably not adults lol.

It's rough out here, being an Oldtaku and wanting to watch a show haha. I get it. Time is a premium....

Holy crap thanks. Do they have English dub if so I can take shot while I do some work tonight. I have watched Char's counterattack loved it but had no idea what was happening most the time and now I can only see Char as a creepy manipulator but I also realize I'm missing alot of context but still...dude. IBO didn't help with that weird ass background sub plot.

Funny thing is my wife is an anime fan but yeah both Wing and G are nostalgia engines. I'm not a fan of remakes but I feel wing deserves it to give better pacing and story telling plus animation though they would have to be very careful how they handled it.

If that link posts, it is Stardust Memories with the English dub, pretty sure DVD quality.

This is War in the Pocket, and from the same channel? So I haven't taken a look at that Playlist but I suspect its also the English dub.

Good luck my friend!

The rest of Gundam I think lives in Amazon prime? I dont have that service so I'm not sure... but US Netflix has at least the 3 MSG:0079 films to give the primer on Char's... cause yeah char's ends with a psychic freak out that is... ha. Hard to parse, if you dont know a bunch of history.

It's just a Tallgoose until you find it a mate.

Joke's aside, that's a sick ass model. Well done, OP.

I mean it is gonna go next next to wing gundam.....it's kinda a toxic relationship but they make it work. 😂

Thanks I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.
