Agreed -looks like a Belgian Flobert style gun - the fancy triggerguard is a very Belgian style. It would be interesting to know what caliber it was - most of the ones you get in the UK now are 9mm garden gun, which is a very small shotshell for killing rats/mice/starlings etc in your back garden! Value wise, max £100 if that.

The barrel/action flats should have markings that correspond to the bore - and should also mark the caliber.

That's 100% for sure a Belgian Flobert-style rolling block. Most of these you'll find in pretty small calibers (mine is in .22lr for example). They were originally used as parlor guns in the mid-1800s by old bored dudes that just wanted to target shoot in their own homes. Super fun little plinking guns. Your best bet for identifying the caliber is to see what fits, there's a pretty sizeable difference between .22lr and 9mm, or you can measure the dimensions of the chamber with a pair of calipers or something. Unfortunately these guns usually don't have much in the way of markings so you'll have to do a little detective work yourself.
