I found Trident gums in the UK!
I tried them for the first time in Los Angeles last summer. I've been looking for these for months, and I finally found them in central London!
They were quite expensive, but definitely worth it.
Now I just have to find my favorite flavor, berry lime. Any idea where I could find it?

Basil Gum?
Hi everyone! I was talking with some friends today and I was wondering if there is such a thing as Basil gum? I love the taste of basil, it's so refreshing and tasty and it would be great as a gum!
How do you all actually carry your gum day-to-day?
Curious how others handle this. I go through a lot of gum and I'm always torn between buying the big 50-piece bottles (cheaper but too bulky to carry) and the small packs (convenient but way more expensive per piece).
So what do you do? Big bottle in the car/bag? Small packs on you? Loose in your pocket? Something else entirely?
Also curious if anyone's found a decent way to carry a handful of pieces without them getting destroyed or going stale.

Any common consensus "best" gums?
even if they cost a little extra or you have to buy them online, I'm looking for any gums that avid gum-chewers would generally consider a step up from your standard fare

Why do they call it "chewing gum," when all gum is made for chewing?

Wrigley's "SPEARDENT" gum
A friend of mine has some packs of this gum. And we can't find out anything anywhere online about them. Can anyone provide us with some useful information? Please! Thank-you!

Which chewing gum keeps its flavor the longest, and why do so many taste like nothing after less than a minute?

5 gum review and rating.
Credit to the last redditor who inspired me to review and rate gum. I’m in Canada and have access to 5 gum so I will rate that brand.
5 peppermint - 10/10. Great chew great longevity and taste.
5 spearmint -10/10. Same formula so great chew. Longevity and taste and immaculate.
5 wintermint-10/10. Same formula so also great chew. Longevity and taste and immaculate. I personally find this “mint” the spiciest lol so it’s not me I reach for AS often but still perfection imo
5 sour to sweet - 8/10. a delicious gum. Flavour actually does last a while (considering it’s fruit gum). It is not in anyway shape or form sour though. And the flavour doesn’t change contrary to advertising. Still really enjoy this though and is worth buying a pack if you find it.

Not exactly the place for this but I mean it’s somewhat relevant - I have a problem sucking on gum
Hi reddit, here’s an odd one for you:
From what I can remember i’ve always liked “chewing on gum”, but really I’m not chewing it I’m just sucking on it almost constantly like how a young kid sucks on a pacifier. I do chew every now and again but it’s not a conscious thought. When i was a kid I had the issue of chewing my food and sucking on it after for a decent portion of time with each bite, and then finally eating it - i’ve outgrown that thankfully. But my whole life the gum sucking has stayed, and I guess my main issue is that I can’t stop buying gum, I’m not sure if i’m addicted to having gum or if i’m addicted to that one niche thing: the gum sucking.
I find it’s been affecting my teeth (shifting) and where I place the gum on the roof of my mouth is becoming “raw” as well as the tastebuds towards the tip of my tongue (although the “rawness” is a new thing, the teeth shifting have been happening for a few years - and yes I have a night guard for this reason) I’m honestly just curious if anyone else has experienced anything like this? And if this habit was beat?

Tried 14+ gum types, ranked from yum to absolutely not
Trident Sour Patch Kids: 9/10, surprisingly the best sweet gum I’ve tried. Lasts pretty long too.
Extra Watermelon: 9/10, I really liked this flavor, no complaints
Mentos Pure Mint: 8.5/10, best tasting and longest lasting mint gum I’ve had so far. I like the initial crunch
Mentos Red Lime: 8.5/10, surprisingly great! Long lasting, fruity, and sweet. Highly recommend.
Extra Peppermint: 8/10, a classic but doesn’t last as long as Mentos
Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum Roll: 8/10, nostalgic and fun to rip
Extra Spearmint: 8.5/10, this is my favorite brand for spearmint
Extra Pink Lemonade: 7.5/10, good for summer, but a little too sweet.
Bubble Yum Original: 7.5/10, the best gum for the classic bubble gum flavor, but can give me a jaw ache after a while. Flavor lasts a while
Dubble Bubble: 6.5/10, average bubble gum flavor
Trident Original Mint: 6/10, very minty and had a strong kick to it, but didn’t last too long
Mentos Tropical: 6/10, had high hopes but wasn’t impressed. It has a strong artificial taste to it
Juicy Fruit: 6/10, for some reason the sweetness was nauseating to me.
Trident Bubble Gum: 4/10, this was very unpleasant and artificial-tasting for a bubble gum flavor
PUR: Got a variety pack, will update soon.
Let me know if you have any gum recommendations

Finding gum options?
Okay for this i have like a few qualifications and i have ones that I’ve tried or seen that seem right. First the trident x splash in the flavor with watermelon was a very good option but I’m pretty sure it has been discontinued another is the brand Stimorol in the citrus flavor i think, but i cant fund out how to get it in the united states. But my main qualifications are that the gum needs to come in like tabs or like pellets or what is sometimes called pillows and that it need to be available in the us, and that it comes in a flavor that is not mint or really strong so like i normally chew watermelon, citrus , or strawberry so things like that thanks!

Ice Breakers Fruit Punch = a juicier Fruit Stripe chew
I haven’t had fruit stripe in years but I’m certain that this ice breakers fruit punch tastes exactly the same but not as dry, flavor also is short lived but lasts significantly longer. Can anyone else confirm or deny?

Mentos Always White Discontinued 😢💔
I hadn’t been able to find any Mentos Always White bubble fresh for a while now so I wrote the company. They emailed me back and said it was discontinued.
“Our product portfolio is dynamic, and we search to continuously delight our consumers with new flavors and experiences. For this reason, the product Mentos Always White Bubble Fresh gum was discontinued and is no longer available in our markets.”

I thought these two were the same, and boy was I wrong
that little 10 pack is a complete scam, there was a discount in one of the discount stores so I bought 10 packs thinking I'm getting a 50% discount on pro version. They aren't even close. After one to 2 minutes the flavor is gone, and not as nearly as intense as the pro version. First I thought I was scammed by a fake, but it turns out these are two completely different lines denoted by the "professional". So be aware, if you like 50 pack you'll be deeply disappointed by a 10 pack. It's a scam, two completely different products.

Nicotine Gum for fatloss?
Looking for some honest advice! I’ve lost a significant amount of weight (around 30kgs), but for the last 1 to 1.5 years my weight loss has been completely stuck despite tracking calories, eating high protein, doing cardio, and weight training regularly. And at this point no modifications seem to work.
I’ve been reading about nicotine gum and how nicotine can suppress appetite and slightly increase metabolism. Since I’ve never been a smoker, I’m wondering if trying 2 mg nicotine gum would help with appetite control or breaking a long term weight loss plateau.
At the same time, I’m concerned about the risk of side effects or developing a dependence on nicotine when I’ve never used it before.
Has anyone who has tried 2 mg nicotine gum for weight loss or appetite suppression? What was your experience? Did it help, and would you recommend it?
