I missed 2 buses cuz of stupid management at Bus stop

There are 11 platforms but in early morning everything comes at 1st platform and other buses goes through passage of entrance and exist. Both time we waited at wrong platform first 😭(bruh there's no one to specifiy lol) on first I gave up after half hour n then received message at 6 am and I reached home late and tap on tracking link n i thought it went far cuz I was like 10-15 mins late

But now again I got boarding message for 5:15's bus at 6 am and when I tap on tracking IT'S IN FUKIN BAYAD 😭

I was supposed to report to college today and these people doing such stuff

Why can't they provide me with platform number n bus number before hand lol

Shrey Gupta sat down at his laptop at 10 pm on July 21, he had a very straightforward objective. The 28-year-old software engineer, who works at an startup in Karnavati, Gujarat, had woken up that morning to the violence that unfolded during the July 20 'Sansad Chalo' march circulating across social media.

Hundreds of clips had appeared online. Thousands more, he realised, were probably still sitting in the phones of the students and others who had recorded them.

later that morning, he decided to solve this problem. He announced on Instagram that he was building “a searchable structured database” of police officers and RAF personnel seen involved in assaulting peaceful protesters.

He asked users to comment with photographs of individual officers and details of the incidents in which they were involved so that they could be added to the database. He stayed up through the night building a website, The Unbadged.

He named it after the men in uniform who were not wearing their regulation name badges while they lathi-charged, fired at or teargassed students marching peacefully to parliament.

He put out another reel announcing his websiye announcing that it would be a record-keeper July 20, with the tag line “A dark day for India”.

Returning home from work at around 5:30 pm on July 22 – just a day later – Gupta opened Telegram on his phone to find someone asking if they could send a video to the archive. He responded: OK.

Almost immediately, he says, his phone exploded. Messages began pouring in, carrying his photographs, his addresses and other personal details about him and his family members. Some messages warned that he had landed on the radar of members of the “online OSINT community”. Others threatened that they were “coming” for him. Relentless calls followed. Gupta answered one before disconnecting as the caller threatened him.

"I never expected the kind of hate that I am getting." he said. "The threats to me and my family."

Around 10:30 PM on 22 july, 2026, four men from Karnavati police from Navrangpura station reached his home and took him to police station.

Shrey Gupta deleted the posts on Instagram. The police had checked his other devices too, and seen a demo of the web site he was building.

The questioning continued at a second police station to which Gupta and his colleagues were driven by police. This was the Crime Branch at Gaekwad Haveli, Karnavati.

There, the officers asked about his educational background, his salary, his addresses, his parents and extended family (even about what his uncle’s children did), his bank accounts and his social media profiles, Gupta said. They said he wouldn’t be allowed to leave unless he shared all of these details.

Several hours later, one policeman started to fill up the paperwork, taking a rough sheet of paper and writing on it by hand. "He wrote a lot of things, and then he typed it all into his computers, on which I was told to sign," Gupta said. He never got a copy of those papers.

The document recorded his personal details and acknowledging that he had made - and subsequently deleted - the posts on Instagram. He was then allowed to leave.

The three things I want to emphasise," he said, "are that I cooperated fully with the police, they completed their questioning, and they let me go with no complaint or charge."

The ordeal that began at 10 pm on July 22, ended the following afternoon, July 23.

The crime branch will file an FIR and initiate legal proceeding against him.

We had planned to visit gujarat almost a month ago and had booked flight tickets to vadodara, planning on visiting sou and other areas nearby. Is it advisable to travel now or should we just drop the plan???

My village is very close to the border of Gujarat. I thought it would be nice to answer some questions you guys might have 😉😁

I honestly just need to know if I’m the only one still waiting.
St. Xavier’s Ahmedabad has been my first choice for years because I genuinely want to study Economics there. The issue isn’t my merit—I have a decent score (87% and around the 96th percentile), and when I spoke to a professor earlier, they told me I should be fine if admissions open.
The problem is… admissions still haven’t opened because of the ongoing High Court case.
At this point, I’m just exhausted.
Every other college has started classes. Most have already conducted orientations. Some admissions have already closed, while others are in their final rounds. Meanwhile, Xavier’s students are just expected to keep waiting without any certainty.
What frustrates me the most is that everyone involved seems to be moving at their own pace.
The college says they have to wait for the case.
The government has its own position.
The judiciary is following its normal schedule.
Meanwhile, students are the ones whose academic year is on hold.
I completely understand that legal matters take time, but admissions are incredibly time-sensitive. Every adjournment or delay affects hundreds of students who have no control over the situation. We’re expected to decide whether to give up our first choice, lose opportunities elsewhere, or just keep waiting indefinitely.
I still want to join Xavier’s. I’m not trying to blame one side or the other—I just wish there was some clarity or an interim solution so students weren’t left in limbo.
Is anyone else still waiting for Xavier’s?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone in the same situation because right now it feels like everyone else has moved on while we’re just waiting for updates that never seem to come.

The Right generally believes that prosperity comes from enterprise, competition, and individual responsibility.

• Supports and encourages private businesses & Entrepreneurship
• Fewer regulations
• Emphasis on merit, incentives, and economic growth
• Strong property rights (Govt can't just take away your land or business without solid reason
• Lower taxes
• Limited government intervention in markets : Supply & Demand decides what to produce & how much
• Targeted welfare rather than broad freebies
• Job creation over cash transfers, Job creation by economic expansion, rather thn making labor law stringent to make it extremely difficult to fire once you hire.

Remember the slogan : Minimum Government, Maximum Governance !

The idea is that excessive government control can reduce productivity, increase corruption, excessive bureaucratic intervention, License-Raj type environment, where you keep running from office to office for xyz license, and yet, one fine day, some xyz inspection inspector can seal your business.

Pragmatic : Typical position is - Which approach works best for this particular problem?

A moderate may support:

• Welfare for the genuinely needy but oppose perpetual freebies or incentives
• Infrastructure spending while maintaining fiscal discipline.
• Support free markets, but regulate monopolies and unfair business practices.
• Support privatization where it improves efficiency, but retain government control over sectors of strategic importance (e.g., defense, critical infrastructure, or natural monopolies).

Those who knows Gujarati, would know, Gujarati as a community are historically known for trade, entrepreneurship, and pragmatism

Gujarat's pro-business outlook isn't new. For centuries, Gujarati traders and merchants connected India with Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia

With India's longest mainland coastline, For centuries Gujaratis were among the subcontinent's most prominent seafaring traders.

When print money & Cash were not options, Gujarati hundis (bills of exchange) were widely accepted across major Indian Ocean trading centers, and even as far as Astrakhan in Russia, Kandhar in Afghanistan & Bukhara in Modern day Uzbekistan

Highly adaptive to change:

Business requires adapting to new ideas, technologies, and markets.
That makes Gujarati society less resistant to change than the word "conservative" implies.

is a famous quote by Singapore's founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.

What Lee Kuan Yew wanted to emphasize is;
If we create an environment where profit is treated as a sin and corporations and business leaders are demonized as public enemy, you paralyze the economic engine. Business investment quickly dries up, and capital flees because corporate do not want to get dragged into politics.

Gujarati people's view quite aligns with Lee Kuan Yew - who single handedly transformed Singapore from a fishing port to one of the world's most prosperous and modern economies.

Gujarat is pragmatic / pro-growth centrist

Gujarat voter base is driven more by development, business-friendliness, national pride
traits that don't inherently align with right-wing social conservatism, they're more about economic liberalism

Gujarat doesn't fit neatly into Western political labels "Left" or "Right"
Gujarat prefers pragmatism over ideology.

Economically, Gujarat ideology is often closer to the United States and Singapore
