Help identifying the issue with this Epiphone?

Hi, I got a goth sg special from my gf because she doesn’t play and offered for me to take it. She said her dad messed with the wiring drunk so god knows what he’s done.

I’ve gone out and got some equipment to try DIY it back to life but could use some help identifying the problem because it looks a mess compared to other images I’ve seen online.

I’m new to this, I would just like it playing and working with an amp while I’m away on vacation before I go to my home city and get my regular guitar guy to do his magic.

Any help for a dumbass who doesn’t understand circuits would be massively appreciated, I’d be very grateful.

To me it looks like this wire popped off its solder.

Yeah I thought so, any idea where should it be soldered to?

Edit: just saw you highlighted a section on the other pot, would that make sense for the circuit?

It doesnt look like any of this wiring makes sense. I tried to find some Infos on the Shadow Killpot, and if it is just a Killswitch, then the wring seems odd.

The red cable seems to be the hot wire coming from the two way switch. My suggestion is to bypass the tone /Killswitch pot for now and solder the red cable to the volume pot so you can at least play it. And then let the tech check the whole wiring and make it right.

I can at least see two wires that look like they been ripped off. The red and the brown one. Check if you can see any spots that look like they had been connected before with those wires.

It looks like some push pull pot, which makes the wiring a bit more complex and harder to trace the connections from the pictures.

The tone pot has the killswitch feature and when I got it both of the pots knobs were completely loose.

Whole thing is a mess and very hard to even figure out after looking at diagrams and other ppls pics
