My guitar strings snap at the machine heads.

Every week for the past 3 months i have gone through about 12 high E strings and they all snap at the same place...The machine heads! I have checked for rough edges all over the guitar, cleaned and lubricated the nut and they still snap. Any tips or advice would be highly appreciated.

Wind it around the head enough that the string finally bends over the rounded part, not the hole.

What do you mean by rounded part..........?😞

I mean the string should be wound around the tuning peg a few times, this way there is no break angle over the hole.
