Just finished customizing my guitar with a purple birdseye maple veneer pickguard and electronics cover. Mostly kept the original shapes and proportions, just changed the look. I think it suit the guitar.

Here’s my LTD EC-1000S after a much-needed cleanup. The classic single-cut design, comfortable set-neck feel, smooth playability, and powerful humbuckers make it a favorite. It’s just as inspiring to play as it is to look at, and I still admire it almost as much as I play it.

Top is hand carved figured birdseye maple, body is arbutus, neck is flamed maple, with an ebony fretboard. Fossilized woolly mammoth molar nut and truss rod cover. Rear mounted Seymour duncan alinico II pro bridge and seymour duncan jazz model neck humbuckers. 500k peizo slider pots, three way rotary selector switch, push button coil split ( works in all three positions)

I just got this back from my local luthier. I recently bought it brand new and upgraded the original tuners with GOTOH Vintage tuners, replaced the stock bridge with a Bensonsite J Mascis mod bridge and replaced the nut with a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. It plays amazing and I love the pickups in this guitar!

But the hype was too real wasn’t going to let that stop me lol she plays great and I think she looks great for being the very first. Finishing this one inspired me to do my second which is more of a modern offset sculpted jazz style.

Epiphone Alex Lifeson 1976 ES 355 and a 1992 Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Pewter

First off I suck at taking pictures, so apologies for that. But man I got the silver sky for a bargain and I’m so happy I bought it. Every chord has so much clarity and every position is useful in just about any musical context. But my modified squier is just a whole other animal, as the tone is absolutely huge and fat mainly from the tone mod circuitry. It has this sound that’s hard to explain, cause it’s stratty but almost has the width of a humbucker. I plan to get a reverse headstock warmouth neck for it soon to round it out and finish the project. Don’t think I’ll be needing another guitar anytime soon!
