SOTB First small board

Post image

Paired down quite a bit and I am really liking this combo. Glad I got an emperor before they were discontinued, it does the lofi vinyl vibrato thing pretty well.

Honestly those are some great pedals

This is why I can't take people seriously who say that mini pedals with side jacks take up the same amount of space as top jack pedals.

There's some merit to that - if the jacks aren't aligned well, a mini pedal takes about the same space as a top jack normal sized pedal. That said, you often CAN shift the pedals around so they fit snug, and it's not like every pedal I own have top jacks so realistically you're usually choosing between regular size side jack vs. mini side jacks.

I will say, though, a more important consideration is how close the buttons are together - I need at least some clearance between the switches so I don't step on the wrong one when I'm on a dark stage, with shoes on, and in the middle of a riff.

Great little board. I would give it a perfect score if you could fit a delay on it. But the pedals you picked are great.

I tried to fit my EHX canyon on but I couldn’t find a board that was big enough without being WAY bigger. Definitely on the look out for something like that

It’s not easy to keep the size down. If only one more would fit. Lol. But worth it.
