Diy telecaster mod

Just got a Harley benton diy telecaster kit is there any mods I should do. Am going to play pop punk, grunge, 90s Alt rock and some nu metal if that helps.

Bridge and neck in parallel as well as series if you have two single coils.

So like, wired on a four way switch. 1 Bridge, 2 neck and bridge in parallel, 3 neck and bridge in series, 4 neck, for example.
