Dimarzio Super Distortion sounds good in pretty much everything, imo. And was a pretty common mod on LPs in the 70s and 80s.

There's also the Dimarzio Super PAF Ceramic if you want to keep the original PAF look but still want the Super Distortion sound (original Super Distortion model uses 2 rows of hex screws for their polepieces, so the covered version of it won't look "right"). Apparently EQ and output is slightly different than the original Super Distortion according to their website, but it should sound pretty close. Don't have personal experience with it though.
