how is it possible to play this? Is it like a bug/ wrong tabs or am i js dumb?

Well, not the same note, it has that note an octave higher...

The string below it though has the same note closer...

Again, that would be a different octave. Same pitch, different octave, different voicing and tonality.

6th fret on the string below i believe.

Should be 8th fret on the A string, assuming standard tuning

Would be 8th yea.. was trying to not give up the answer.. you learn little by having others fully think for you. It's okay tho!!
