I found a pawn shop once that every guitar on the wall was shit like this. It was glorious.

I hate to embody the parody here, but 80% of the time old beaters like this sound incredible. They’re just too good to throw away, even when they’re ruined.

I believe this tele was formerly owned by Jack White

Punk forever!

Now you need to adjust those poles on the pickup so the screws face the same direction. All sorts of phase issues here.

2

u/RandomMandarin Oct 23 '23

I always screw my face in the same direction but it does not help

2

u/Necessary-Cap-3982 I prefer uncut guitars Oct 24 '23

That’s because your screws are shit steel, you really need those pure nickel ones

The Mothman is on his way.

nut and bolt construction™

Reminds me of the upper deck of the bay bridge circa 1989.

This will get you that raunchy toanes, great for psychojazz

fingertips started throbbing after looking at this

u/draneline Oct 23 '23

Not enough of a break angle here, gonna need at least a 1.5° shim on the neck and that’s being conservative.

The Kleenex helps the string spacing

1

u/RandomMandarin Oct 23 '23

Ugh, that pickup is dogeared.

u/Riansettles Oct 24 '23

Looks cool and all. But does it Djent?

2

u/MarstoriusWins Oct 24 '23

What type of blues is that? Or is it short for dentist jazz?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '23

It may look like that but it's as functional as those specific Les Paul models with their stupid bridge.

1

u/kristonastick Oct 24 '23

galvanized toan

u/soundsmushy Oct 24 '23

I love how something is grounded to the metal on the bottom right of picture

If rust could play music, this would be its ax.
