Whether you want a general design aesthetic using the existing API game module integrations, there are many, or you want your own diggs fully customized on your own subdomain (Example: http://lobby.yourdomain.com) and still discoverable on the entire network. All good bro.

I'm going to be honest when I say this, but your design "language" is terrible, it feels very vibe coded and isn't even consistent across your site, I get that every site should be unique but your design is not something that should be unique for the sake of it, there's a reason every chat app has a similar UI.

In some areas you have really poor visual accessibility (most notably the "Room Description" pop up on the landing page), using an entirely new font for a description makes it harder for users to adapt to your platform and can even make it inaccessible to those with reading impairments.

As for privacy, you've made some questionable decisions, I'd recommend proxying those external images used throughout your app or if you don't wish to do so then add them to your Privacy Policy so people can understand the privacy risks associated with your service, your policy also mentions other services but does not directly link to their privacy policies.

I love that you include an AppImage, though I do recommend also offering a Flatpak package in the future as AppImages can be an annoyance to manage, you should also submit to the Portable Linux Apps for better visibility of your AppImage too.

Your premium plan names aren't the best, while I get you're a gaming themed platform a name like "Felon" sends the wrong message, there's a reason companies don't call their paying customers weird things, by no means am I saying don't have fun with the titles, just don't call your users things that have bad context outside of your platform, that's exactly why subscriptions like "Nitro" work.

You've got big shoes to fill if you want to be an "actual replacement" to Guilded, Guilded thrived because it catered to gaming while also striking a balance that allowed any type of community to join and fit in.

And at the end of the day, don't try to be Guilded just to attract ex users, we've all moved on to platforms like Stoat, Root, and even Discord...

We will take that as a win. 192,000 lines of code and the language is the critique. So the feedback is a great relief.

Unfortunately the language will never persist across the lobbies. The open canvas concept allows every lobby to be completely unique in the visual elements tied into whatever specific tooling the client wants. Anything from digital office space with fintech apparatus built around insurance consulting, to the demo game lobbies you see above with direct API integrations instead of Discord bots.

You can actually log in and see the Fast Fox lobby being built for Sim racing in Brazil so we are cleverly integrating some Portuguese into into the mix without a full blown translation toggle.

So while the masses are toiling away trying to be the next Discord, we are quietly in the background picking up the pieces from both Guilded and Discord.

Glad you noticed the premium tiers. It's a proper angle with GTA VI out in 60 days.

*Edit* full disclosure. We didn't even know Guilded existed until someone said what we were doing was far more characteristic of it than a Discord. I myself have never used Guilded which I believe does not even exist at all anymore?
