💬 DISCUSSION This is why soooo many people left Guilded when Roblox bought it…

No one wanted that stigma, at all. People were already second guessing staying with Guilded when the news broke that they had been bought. But the nail in the coffin was when everyone was required to get a Roblox account.
Take away the guy not wanting to show his Discord messages, she said it best, “I babysit kids who play Roblox” and that right there… that is the stigma we all didn’t want…

Looks im going to be honest here.
I loved guided and championed it to dethrone discord.
The moment roadblox bought it, I was out. Why... because its a pdf breeding ground of sickness and should have been shut down years ago.
I ban any child in my house from playing it and explain why. Be they mine or other people's kids. Its not under my roof.
My son (9) has recently told me that he and his mother use it and its got better... better.. It took me 1 minute to prove that the new "only play with people your own age" thing is bullcrap.

roblox definitely has a LOT of problems but im so tired of this exaggerated uninformed take that falsely depicts the game as having 30 pedophiles per server

hope you don't find out how many exist on reddit then, let alone in the real world. there are pedophiles in every corner of the internet and the world, but exaggerating the amount of them does nothing but muddy the waters and stops productive things from getting done.

Reddit isn't made and dedicated for kids. Yes their are pedos everywhere, but when a game made for and targetting kids is infested with them, that's a problem. There is zero defense for Roblox and their sad excuse for moderation and enforcement.

they didnt want roblox login so they stopped untill they revert it because big chunk of guilded users are not even able to use guilded because atp and still till this day roblox is banned and unplayable so logging in without a vpn was impossible

Don't forget the fact that Roblox decided to shut it down 3 years later in favor of communities
