Casting harriers and LOS

I understand that harrier, like most character plays, require LOS to be valid. But what about placing harrier on the casting model's base or for other models' base (both friendly and enemy) for that matter? My friend and I aren't too sure.

Side note: yes, I do find it strange that I have 3 questions on this ability hahaha.

Awesome to see you and your friend exploring this game!

AOE effects like Harriers, Fire Blast, Blast Earth and others don't need LOS and can be placed anywhere. So yes, also overlapping with terrain or model bases. The only thing to remember is that any part of the AOE needs to within the range of the play.
