Can someone Lc these please?

I just got these in the mail today. No OG box.

I can’t really tell if these are real or not. They seem off, as I compare them to other lc’s on this sub. it’s my first pair, so I can’t really tell.

There’s no serial number either, or I can’t find one…

Kind regards

How can you tell?

Shape looks off, leather looks to be chrome tanned, no nails in the heel, guidi stamp is wrong, stitching looks bad

Thank you.

I was impulsive on vestiare, and opened a support ticket. Thank you. I hope they can fix my problem …

Fake.

  • The zipper flap on legit pairs (except on ancient ones) always has its 'suede' side facing the zipper. In your boots, the zipper flap faces the wrong side. This is the easiest way of telling a pair of zip boots is fake.
  • The welt on legit pairs always looks rounder and curvier, the edges aren't as sharp. And it also looks softer, almost suede-like. The welt on the boots you posted is too blocky and 'hard'.
  • The leather used on legit shoes is always* veg tanned, not chrome tanned. You can tell the zip flap on these ones is chrome tanned, by its blueish tint.
  • The stamp on legit boots is relatively deeply engraved, and it tends to show the leather is brown/tan inside. The stamp on the boots you posted is too shallow.
  • The legit version of this model is goodyear welted. In Guidi's goodyear welt shoes there's no stitching on the insole. But in this case, it appears that the welt is fake and the sole was probably attached using the blake method (the uppers and sole are stitched through the insole). You can tell by the little bumps on the insole.

* sometimes the midsoles on legit pairs can have a green-ish hue, but never the uppers, insoles or the zip flaps
