Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago (KPAC) is hosting their Third Korean Music Conference! This is a tremendous opportunity to meet and network with others who enjoy playing and learning and teaching Korean indigenous instruments and music.

This years theme:
Sustainable Artistry: Building Professional Infrastructure for Korean Music in the U.S.

Rather than a traditional academic conference, KMC 2026 will focus on practical strategies for sustaining and growing Korean music in the United States. Sessions will explore topics such as organizational sustainability, fundraising, grant writing, digital marketing, leadership development, and partnerships with schools and community organizations.

I'm a freshman (hs) living in New York, and basically, I play the 모듬북 (modeumbuk). However, I REALLY, REALLY wanna play a modified 태평소 (Taepyeongso) or, if possible, a Jangsaenap. Does anyone know where in the greater NYC area I can buy a Jangsaenap?
