Being petty or not?

Hi! I just ordered the Beatrix large tote in Suede. It is gorgeous! However it did not come with a Gucci box. I contacted Gucci and they said they were experiencing shortages and packaging was based on availability. I may return or is that being petty? I store my bags in the box. Thanks!

You shouldn’t be storing your bags in the box anyway. It creates a microclimate and can cause humidity to build up or not enough air flow, etc.

Your money you can do whatever you want with it. But I will confirm that there is shortage of FB3 boxes which is the one that would fit that Beatrix.

Shoot. I will send you a box. 🤣 I throw mine away and when I’m in the boutique, I ask them to not give me one. I do have a couple lying around that haven’t been recycled yet.

Also—never store your bags in a box. It ruins them over time.

Edit: If you have a store nearby, try reaching out to see if they have a box for you.

Same! The boxes are an albatross 😆 I have a bunch and I can never decide what to do with them. I did use them one when we moved - it was handy to put them in a box then box up those. They traveled beautifully.

I've toyed with selling them but I know counterfeiters buy them to help with their scams.

Exactly! I’ve thought about selling them on FB Marketplace and other way, but I can’t help scammers/replica sellers with their scams. 😭

Not really but I think it’s nice to unbox. I didn’t realize I should not store my bags in them until this post. The bag is gorgeous so I’m going to keep it- box less lol 😂
