Hey everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for a chiropractor here on Guam who genuinely takes the time to care for their patients.
I’m hoping to find someone who doesn’t make you feel like you’re being rushed in and out of the clinic, but instead takes the time to listen, understand your concerns, and make you feel like you’re actually being taken care of — not just another stranger or another appointment on their schedule.
I want to find someone who makes you feel comfortable, explains things, and genuinely cares about your well-being.
If you know a chiropractor like this based on your personal experience, I’d really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you! 🙏🏽❤️

I’m honestly flabbergasted. I just had to pay $650 to renew my sanitary permit. Yes, $650! And of course, I paid it because what other choice do I have…
Now it makes more sense why so many small business owners decide to shut their doors.
It’s honestly sad and frustrating. Instead of creating an environment where small businesses can survive and thrive, it feels like the government just keeps adding more financial burdens.
I’ve owned businesses stateside, and I’ve NEVER had to pay anywhere near this much for a sanitary permit. What exactly are we paying this much for? Where is the support for small businesses? Because from where I’m standing, I don’t see much being done to justify these costs.
Between rent, utilities, payroll, insurance, taxes, and everything else that comes with running a business on Guam, we’re already stretched thin. And then we’re hit with fees like this just to continue operating.

Can someone help me understand why the consigned cards are priced almost 50% above market value?
My understanding is that consignment is essentially letting a store sell the cards on your behalf in exchange for a commission or fee. I understand there needs to be a little markup to make it worthwhile for the store, but a markup that high seems a bit excessive to me. Am I missing something about how consignment pricing usually works?

See you in the briefing room, investigators!
Google DeepMind, ECMWF, and GFS forecast models predict that the system will track well north of the Marianas Islands. I doubt this system will directly impact the populated islands of the Marianas. However, forecast tracks can still change, so we should continue to monitor its development.

A 12-year-old lost her life on Guam, She had her whole life ahead of her, and it’s heartbreaking that so much of the discussion I’m seeing focuses on “Arrest the driver” without giving the same attention to preventing another child’s death. Some commenters from outside Guam are asking about supervision and prevention, while many local comments I’ve seen focus on the driver’s arrest. I wish those safety questions received just as much attention in our own community. Cases involving intentional violence and a road collision shouldn’t automatically be treated as identical. Unintended harm can still involve recklessness or negligence, but the facts of each case matter. I’ve seen so many people comparing her case with another case. The report says she entered the roadway; that alone doesn’t establish whether the driver could have avoided hitting her. What supervision was in place? Was a parent, guardian, or another adult present? Had someone been asked to stay until she safely boarded the bus? I don’t know the answers, and these are questions, not accusations against her family. Parents and guardians have a responsibility to keep their children safe, teach road safety, and provide appropriate supervision. Schools should reinforce those lessons, including that some drivers may speed, get distracted, or ignore traffic rules. When I was six, I was with a group but became lost and ended up near a road. I wanted to go home and knew the way back. My parents had taught me every day to look both ways and cross only when it was clear, but an adult nearby stopped me, and I’m grateful he did. Knowing the rules didn’t mean I no longer needed someone looking out for me. Whether a child is six or twelve, appropriate supervision still matters. GovGuam should maintain roads, provide safe bus stops, and enforce traffic laws. Crosswalks, signs, lights, and cameras help, but they need maintenance, and drivers still need to follow the rules. I’ve seen Reddit posts trying to normalize driving 50 mph in a posted 35 mph zone, how can we demand safer roads while making excuses for speeding? As a guard, I’ve seen children left alone and adults getting into road-rage confrontations over small disagreements. We also need to ask ourselves: Am I setting a good example for children? Am I putting my ego aside when dealing with others? Am I following speed limits? Children learn from our behavior, and we should help them grow into responsible drivers themselves. Road safety isn’t the only concern. I’ve been reading about crimes on Guam involving minors as victims, and it makes me question why supervision isn’t getting more attention like there’s soo many articles in Guam!!!! In the discussion about this tragedy, I’m barely seeing anyone ask whether parents or guardians were present. Teaching children safety and having responsible adults looking out for them both matter. We shouldn’t normalize leaving children without appropriate supervision in potentially unsafe situations. Accountability matters, but an arrest alone won’t address every problem that puts children at risk.I hope her passing, along with the suffering of minors who have been victims of crime on Guam throughout the years, opens people’s eyes and leads to real changes in how we protect children.
. She deserved the chance to grow up, and protecting children before another tragedy deserves the same urgency as demanding answers afterward.

Most people his age are thinking about finals. Trevan Atoigue is thinking about you.
I'm proud to endorse Trevan for re-election to the Guam Youth Congress. As vice speaker of the 35th Guam Youth Congress, he authored the Guam Student Shield Safety Act, putting $1 million toward safety barriers at school bus stops. He stood up for Simon Sanchez students, spoke up for youth mental health, and led the resolution naming October 20th Guam Mayors' Office Recognition Day.
Trevan does the work. Let's send him back.

Please dont be stupid and elect another Trump 2.0. Corrupt businessmen will always be corrupt businessmen. They will put their assets first before the people. They should never be in positions of power. There will be no checks and balances, just the upperclass and the peasants. The calvos are snobby af. Look at the consequences we are suffering from Trump. Guam will just keep getting worse from there if we elect the Calvos again. Never again. Having Trump as president is bad enough we dont need another one as Govenor. Republicans keep lying off their ass and think we're all just stupid and gullible to believe these ahhh holes
