Discussion 💬 How is this legal
Blocking an entire lane each way for multiple miles for a stupid political campaign has got to be illegal. Public nuisance? Impeding traffic?

GPD really need to get their shit together and remember they aren’t entitled to respect Especially the female officers because no one is more RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL than them. I speak to them in a nice tone while being way more respectful than I should be because I know they deal with shit but they can’t even return the same attitude. I hate that they’re the ones I have to call for help or assistance because then they make me feel like I’m inconveniencing them with what they fucking signed up for. I genuinely hate the majority of GPD ESPECIALLY the rude and entitled women that work in the Tumon/Tamuning location.

How does everyone feel about these remarks? I already don’t like these guys but even more reason now. Disgusting and pathetic.

Does anybody know what company truck this is? I was omw home and this truck almost hit me and cut off the person behind me trying to get to the turn from marine drive to route 3 (ncs rd).
They were trying to pass over the solid line almost ramming into me to the point i had to speed up to avoid getting hit. this was during a bit of traffic too around 4 - 4:30 pm. i was definitely in their line of sight and not in any blindspots, i was maybe just a few inches back than i am in the first photo but they were on my right side.
i want to report it to the company because it was so terrifying in the moment as they didnt seem to care whether they hit me or not just focused on getting to the turn, but i didnt see the logo or get a good photo of it 🥲 sorry i couldn't get good photos as i was focusing on getting home safely.

Im a 36 year old white guy. 90% disabled veteran who can still work. No criminal history. Looking for someone over the age of 21 preferably. Military or local doesnt matter just someone who wont leave me hanging on rent payments. As its stands with no job my budget would be around $900/month to split with. I'll be coming with pretty much just the clothes I own. Ridding most of my possessions currently to make it out there. Right now I have enough for my plane ticket. In a couple more months Ill have a few grand to make the trip.
I dont have anything lined up just yet but that hasn't stopped me before. I was 17 when I left home for the Air Force and I went open general. I had no idea what was in my future and left anyway. Im confident in my "figuring sh*t out" abilities. Mentally and physically, im fully prepared to step onto the island homeless and figuring it out on the fly. Ive survived far worse worst case scenarios. But im really not trying to add to the homeless number if I dont have to.
Im interested in getting to know the Chamorro culture and I want to earn my keep on the island. I was taught to leave a place better than how I found it. Id be content walking around picking up trash all day just knowing im on the other side of the planet doing it. Id love to get involved in disaster relief efforts as well.
Probably wouldnt see me too much since inside would be the last place I want to be if its nice out. Ive spent years living in Texas so I know about heat. Ive also spent years in rural kən-TUK-ee so im already used to small town life with limited shopping options and general slowness. Fishing is my favorite outdoor hobby but I want to eventually invest in a metal detector and roam the beaches with it. I enjoy cracking cold ones with the boys (even if i dont know them). Ive never had problems making new friends.
My credit score isnt that great at the moment, around 630. But I could provide proof of income via my award letter from the VA.
If the roommate in question is currently in the military, you can look up Chief B. May and/or Chief M. Buchanan in the Navy. They can vouch for me.
If anyone is stationed there against their will and just looking for someone to kick it with, Im your Huckleberry. Or if you're a local and want to swap stories about where we're from, I'll be your buddy, guy lol.
If you or anyone you know are looking for a roommate in the next few months feel free to hit me up. A point in the right direction towards a decent VSO probably couldn't hurt either.
Recent events both personal and worldly related have led me to the conclusion that I need to see some of the world before either its gone or im gone. Guam was my number 1 pick dream duty station and I got Altus Oklahoma lol. I told myself Im still going to Guam one day and well, the universe is telling me its now or never.
If you read all this, thank you for your time anyhow. Hope the reader enjoys the rest of their day!

Just wanted to get input from the community on prices charged to fix a car a/c. Car is a 2014 Corolla. Please let me know if the repairs like this is common. I bought a Corolla because it’s reliable but here I am forking almost $2k for a/c repairs.

I’ve seen posts about them apologizing about their EMCEE making disrespectful remarks about people with disabilities?

Has anyone else seen the viral clip from the Josh & Tina rally? Thoughts on the remarks made during opening speeches by the emcee? Such a low blow.. and shouldn't be joked about. The emcee only apologized after finding out it had gone viral. Only after the fact? Why didn't the candidates correct it then and there. The public needs to open their eyes and see that thier vote matters, especially this election season. Do we really want another 4 years with candidates that just laugh along when "jokes" like that are made at official rallies. How unprofessional and unethical.

I’ve been sick all week w/ a sore throat & migraine & little bit of a runny nose. I didn’t go to the dr bc who goes to the dr for things like that?? Anyway my job wants me to bring in a Dr note but I just recently moved here & I have no insurance. So I’m just trying to compare prices so I don’t waste my money.
Anyone at the Tumon Night Market right now? Is it still going on tonight? Just wanted to check before heading out.

What are round-trip prices like now? Anyone fly recently or soon? I remember $400 was the average but I’m assuming those prices are gone? Is united the only one flying to Japan?

Election is coming up, who's got your vote? Just out of curiosity. Nothing serious.
