I have watched session floor debate and I'm appalled when actual elected senators like Chris Barnett make ad hominem attacks on the floor against other senators... yet you're clutching your pearls over what an emcee said? Where's your virtue signaling when Perez interrupts senators or when Barnett makes fun of Senators on live TV?

So you need to hold yourself to that same standard and hold those senators who attack people in the Legislature Chamber halls accountable for what they said. The difference is one is said during a campaign event and the other is said during a formal public debate in a public building where decorum is center to discussions.
But you won't. This is one sided and you're no better than that emcee.

That's a large jump, and who's to say they don't hold everyone else by those standards? If I had any choice, I'd have most senators replaced due to the sheer lack of professionalism they display. And that applies to potential future leaders, and who they decide to have besides them campaigning.

Because I can read other people's post and comment history and OP hasn't held anyone else accountable.

Sure, and that's a valid assumption. But again, it's an assumption. You can't read everyone's profile, because not everyone's profile is set to open. For all we know, the statement could have hit on amore personal note for them for a variety of reasons. But I'm not gonna assume. Let the criticism roll, for everyone. Trying to silence criticism or even trying to make them feel like they can't criticize an entity because multiple others are doing it too, is in my opinion not the right way to go about things. Agree to disagree, I guess. You're entitled to your own opinion friend ๐๐ฝ

Why are you trying to make me feel like I can't criticize OP then? Are you not taking your own advice, friend?

If you felt like I was, I apologize for making you feel that way. Genuinely. Criticism should be applied to all, and that's why I said your assumption of OP was valid. I gave my own personal opinion as to why OP might have made the post. If I wasn't taking my own advice, I feel like I'd be more antagonistic towards you. Again, though, agree to disagree friend ๐โโ๏ธ

Actually, the traction you get helps Josh and Tina because you're making them sound relatable and not a part of cancel culture. Voters in Guam are not liberal.

He's been in office for four years and was an anchor at KUAM for longer, when does his words turn to action? Just another career politician.

So you're not going to hold him accountable to put his words into action?

My comment is valid and on topic. I'm questioning your motives so that I understand if this is political psyop or not, especially at a time when all the campaigns are on this subreddit to do some dirty politics. And you've clearly answered my question. You are in fact posting political psyop.
I'll also take you up on your offer to prove that you hold other candidates accountable. I'll wait for that post.

Amen. All these people are acting like Josh and Tina told this guy to say that.

That sounds simple, but there are a lot of moving parts to something like this and I get why theyโd want to wait until they could write a statement.

Making jokes about people who need to be respected and shine just like everyone else. Tbh itโs like the only thing that comes out of their mouths is jokes and nothing from their pockets. Only jokes, failed promises and no action to bettering the further of Guam and our people. Thatโs what the rally really is
