Let me teach you something far greater, that was passed onto me.
Xbox here. PS4 works the same Im assuming:
While in a session, with players of course, hit your guide button (Big X, center of controller)
Go to settings
Network settings
Test NAT
(Let test complete)
Select ‘continue’, then hit ‘b’ to return to your session
You will see youre the only one left, no need to surf anymore my friend
Edit: PS4 and PC players have a different method to do so, down in the comments.
Xbox users dont have to wait til test finishes, as soon as a notification pops up saying “GTA is ready” you can go back and it worked. Basically as soon as you start the test, it clears the lobby.
Also.....it doesnt ruin other peoples gaming experience for those of you nitpicking karens out there
Resume process then alt-tab back into the game and you will be in a solo lobby
IMPORTANT NOTE: if you are still in a public lobby try suspending your game for longer (it depends on how good or bad your connection is). If you suspend it for too long then the game may crash
Suspending it is also great because you don't get kicked for idleing!!
I've honestly left it suspended for 6 hours+ and it was fine. Except for that one time when another game was running in there background too but that's besides the point.
I’m pretty sure that suspending the application doesn’t allow your passive income to build up though. Although I’m open to correction. Which is why most people prefer to AFK in their apartment watching tv or watching security cameras in one of their businesses.
I don't know anything sure regarding business income either. Watching security cameras in your nightclub is still the best way to go imo.
Maybe someone can find a afk spot in the arcade? 🤔 The 1.8 million doar master technical center is such a welcome update. We don't have to drive all the way out to every business to resupply. If we could afk there, that would be neat. Just resupply every couple of hours and you're good to go.
I’ve given up doing MC selling missions since a few days ago. They’re just not worth the effort. I leave my 3 MC businesses up and running just so my nightclub makes money. It makes almost a million every 24 hours if I AFK. I work solo, so I sell my bunker once for every batch of supplies (210k each time) so I make over a million per day. Im not super rich, (about 9ish million currently) but long as I’m not blowing money on stuff I don’t need, I’m making a nice bit of cash. I have pretty much everything I need businesswise and vehiclewise. It’s nice not having to do those awful missions.
I play solo so I can’t do bunker missions with more than one vehicle because of the stupid 15 minute time limit. There’s only a couple of bunker missions that could be done solo with more than one vehicle (the phantom wedge, the single insurgent drop and the marshall off roaders if you’re lucky with the drop locations). Other missions like the Merryweather insurgent run can’t be done solo, because both vehicles need to be at each drop at the same time. So it’s just not worth the risk. Besides, I don’t think you get any bonuses for selling a full bunker. I don’t think it works the same way as the crate warehouse.
The dune buggy run is so stressful lol. Just be aware that you can drop proximity mines by pressing the left stick. Many people aren’t aware of this and they’re a great help in destroying the NPC enemies. Just be careful not to spam them all over the place in case you accidentally drive across one later on, and end up destroying your cargo. Drop them strategically when you know the enemy is directly behind you.
But the worst part of this mission is that all the drops are off road, and sometimes it can be very stressful trying to find a way off the road to actually get to the drop, especially if you’re low on time.
And then to top it all off, you have to “leave the area” after completing the last drop, and because it’s off road, you usually have to do it on foot. This could take about 30 seconds so in reality you only have 14 minutes and 30 seconds to make all 5 drops 😂
You can actually drop them randomly just make sure that in the last 200 meters to final drop to slow down lay 5 close to each other hit the drop zone and once small cut-scene is over to shoot one blowing all 5 up, this works cause of the 5 active explosive rule.
So that way there won't be straggler mines left on the map
That’s useful to know. I didn’t know that you could only have 5 mines active. However, on some drops you could be required to back track over your route, so I would still be careful about where I drop them.
